1. How long does it take to install a Riverleaf camper box?

Not long at all! Every kit comes fully assembled — no tools or power drills needed. Most folks set it up in about 5 minutes (even faster once you’ve done it once).

2. Do I need to remove my car seats to install it?

Usually, no. The **Grand Teton 2 and **Yellowstone kits can fit without removing the second-row seats — perfect if you still use your van daily.

3. What’s the difference between the Grand Teton 1 and Grand Teton 2?

Think of GT1 as the “storage pro” and GT2 as the “headroom lover.” GT1 is taller with deeper drawers; GT2 sits lower for more space to sit upright inside the van.

4. Which Riverleaf kit fits SUVs?

That’s where **Badlands** shines. It’s designed for SUVs like the **RAV4, CR-V, Jeep Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, and Mazda CX-90**. Compact, rugged, and easy to install.

5. What about smaller vans or minivans?

The **Yellowstone** is made for smaller setups — it’s lightweight, minimal, and fits vans like the **Toyota Sienna, Chrysler Voyager, and Nissan NV200.**

6. Can taller people fit comfortably on the bed?

Absolutely. Each platform extends up to **6 feet (72") long**, and many taller campers sleep at a slight diagonal for extra space. You can also ask us about custom-length extensions if you’re over 6'2”.

7. Can I customize the height or layout?

Yes! We can tweak the platform height or modify storage sections to better fit your setup. Just tell us your vehicle model and preferences before ordering

8. Do I need a mattress, or can I sleep right on the platform?

We definitely recommend a mattress — **3” to 4” thick** hits the sweet spot between comfort and headroom. Foam or foam + air types work best.

9. How much weight can the bed hold?

Each platform supports up to **450 lbs**. Built with high-grade birch plywood and reinforced joints, it’s solid, stable, and road-trip tested.

10. Is Riverleaf eco-friendly?

Yes! All our camper boxes are made from sustainably sourced birch plywood and finished with **low-VOC coatings**. Built to last and designed to minimize waste.
